Utah State No. 1 Seed For MW Men's Basketball Tournament, Cowboys No. 8

Utah State claimed its second Mountain West Conference regular-season title, first outright title in program history, and heads into MW Men’s Championship as the No. 1 seed. Nevada, with a 13-5 MW record, is the No. 2 seed.

Utah State and Nevada, along with No. 3 seed Boise State, will receive a first-round bye.

UNLV is the No. 4 seed after posting a 12-6 conference record. San Diego State will be the No. 5 seed, New Mexico No. 6 and Colorado State No. 7.

Wyoming and Fresno State head into the tournament as the eighth and nine seeds with San Jose State at No. 10 and Air Force at No. 11 rounding out the bracket.

The Men’s Tournament is schedule for March 13-16 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The Men’s first round is schedule for Wednesday, and will be live on the Mountain West Network and the MW App. The Mountain West App is free and can be downloaded on phone, TV or table. The App is available on Apple TV, ROKU, Amazon Fired TV, and the Apple and Android Phones.

CBS Sports Network will television the quarterfinal games Thursday and seminfal games on Friday with the men’s title game aired on CBS on Saturday.
